This section is an incredibly scenic part of the Colorado Trail. It begins by ascending up to Georgia Pass; the ascent is fairly gradual and since it's just above the tree line this hike produces beautiful views!<br />
It's about 12 miles from Kenosha to the top, and once you get there you'll want to break out your camera because the nearly 360 degree views are breathtaking.
We had a car parked on both ends of this route. A nice way to do this is to have a couple of friends (or significant others) drop you off at Kenosha Pass you can ride this path 32 miles down into Breckenridge and meet them. Otherwise, this is a very difficult route to pull off. Kenosha Pass is about 20 miles west of Bailey on Hwy 285.
